Branding & Social Media Launch for Passion Project

Establishing credibility and brand identity is just as important as building the foundation behind the scenes when launching a new nonprofit. Passion Project Collaboration Network Inc. (a nonprofit founded by Jensyn Gagne and Cody Clark to support mental health through the arts) needed to introduce the venture with a strong visual presence to communicate its mission and attract early supporters.

The Strategy

Using the same approach we often recommend for our clients, we began by developing a cohesive brand identity, including a color palette, typography, and brand voice.

To ensure Passion Project had a professional online presence in conjunction with its launch, we also implemented our “9 grid” social media strategy to kick things off.

JensynTheory’s “9 Grid” Strategy

Our “9 Grid” strategy involves curating and designing a visually consistent Instagram feed before an official brand launch. To achieve this, we curate and post nine social media graphics that introduce and outline a brand's mission, values, and identity. The “9-grid” serves as an instant portfolio, establishing legitimacy while the business or nonprofit finalizes operations. It provides an engaging, cohesive brand presence, allowing early followers to connect with the vision before regular content begins.

Results

  • A professionally branded social media presence before the nonprofit’s official launch.

  • A visually compelling Instagram grid that sets the tone for future content.

  • Immediate credibility, making it easier to attract collaborators, clients, customers, and supporters.

This method has been a game-changer for clients, and implementing it for Passion Project reinforced its effectiveness. By focusing on branding first, businesses and organizations can make a lasting first impression and build momentum before they even open their doors
